A lyrical documentary and archival reconnaissance on early twentieth-century filmmaker Alice Guy Blaché, examining cultural memory, the archive and the erasure of historical figures. It includes archival documents and recovered footage of Guy’s earliest films, and traces the commercial developments that nearly eclipsed the studio where she made most of her work.
