lilithlithlithlithlithlith: through spiral upon spiral of the shell is a project organized by Elisa Ferrari during her residency at the Western Front. In Ferrari’s words, “lilithlithlithlithlithlith interrogates power/energy infrastructures, their frequency emissions, and their sites. Through a series of events, actions, and consultations, lilithlithlithlithlithlith reviews, proposes and desires sonic affective experiences and collective listening strategies, in order to call attention to invisible spaces and boundaries.”
Following several months of conversation and an exchange of images, sound and text, Ferrari, Mackenzie, SF Ho and Gabi Dao performed at the Western Front using EMF readers, conductive costume, video, feedback and movement.
